Hey,
I have got into a situation and seeking guidance if anyone else got into same situation.
I got Skilled Worker Visa from company X which was taken over by company Y and hence all visa sponsorship was transferred to company Y few months back.
1. All of a sudden, I get an update that My Skilled Worker visa which was originally until next year end, had been cancelled by the home office and the reason stated - I no longer work for company X ( which no longer exists and has been merged into company Y which has all the visa sponsorship transferred)
2. At the same time my employer gets an email that I have applied for ILR and hence my Skilled Worker has been cancelled.
Both of above are incorrect as I still work for the new employer Y ( which is X+Y now) and I have not yet applied for ILR as am not yet eligible.
They gave 14 days time to report an error if we think this is an error which my employer has already done, but we haven't heard back from Home Office Cancellation Department and visa also has not been corrected.
Has anyone else had similar situation or heard of similar scenario, kindly suggest as suitable.
Does anyone has got contact number to get in touch with Visa Cancellation Department ?
Thanks.
