Does the HO write acknowledgement Letter after receiving....

All,

Just wondered if this is still the case with the HO, previously they used to write to applicants acknowledging the receipt of their application and may be with instructions on the probable waiting time and contact details for any queries. I sent my application to them 3 weeks ago and up till now havn't received any letter in this respect, although the application fee was deducted from my acct. less than 4 hours after they received my application form.Hahaha...Who doesn't like money!!!

Anyone in the same boat as me.Please share your experience.

As per HO they take atleast minimum 6 weeks .
