Start date later than mentioned on Cos

Hi,

I am in uk on skilled worker visa. Got redudant. Found a new job and applied swv again. It was approved on 9th of September. Cos said 1st of October is new joining date.
But I want to visit my home country before starting the job. My employer is perfectly fine with it.
If I join on 21st October instead of 1st October, what will be the impact.


Any advice will be highly appreciated.

No impact, the employer is ok with a late start.

Just ensure to carry the new BRP card relevant to the new visa, and not the old (invalid) one.

Sollicitir is suggesting it's better to join max by 14th October. Otherwise home office will say earlier u were in so hurry to get visa and now you are joining late.
I don't think so he is saying right. even home office gives a28 days margin.
