Teir 5 & Relationship - help!

Post by lockieb » Sun Feb 02, 2014 8:24 am

Hello everyone,

So here goes. I'm going to be honest here and any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am a single 23yo male Australian that has visited England once a year for the last 10 years. I stay with my best friends in the whole world who are basically like family to me.

Last month when I was in England I met an amazing guy and we both fell in love with each other.
I have always wanted to move to England and meeting this guy has really made me realise I want to go back not only for him but because England is like another home for me.

Just to get into the UK easily I have been looking at a T5 youth mobility visa. My only problem being, it would tear me to shreds having to leave after 2 years when the visa expires. I seriously believe I could marry this guy, he's the best person I have ever met. True love at first sight in a very mutual way.

In a crazy love haze I researched the "marrying" him method but it's not as easy as that in order to remain in the UK unrestricted.
It really annoys me that it is so hard for me to move to the UK as a genuine hard working person that wants to do the right thing.

In Australia I work in airline operations. It's not really a "highly skilled worker" role but it is very highly sought after role in the airline industry. I also have a student pilots license where I fly privately through a school.

Is there any way possible to get some kind of visa to remain in the UK?
I'm so desperate!
I really want to reiterate that I'm an honest, genuine, hard working guy that wants to move to the UK for no other reasons but to be with this guy and start a new life, contributing fairly in society like I do in Australia.

Surely there is some way?

Warm regards
