Rejected Student Visa Australia - Will it effect my Tier 4 application?

Post by afnanmir » Fri Apr 27, 2018 4:00 pm

Hello, I was rejected an Australian Student visa in Jan 2018. I can justify my rejection well as the visa officer observed I have applied for BSc Management & Finance, whereas I applied for MSc Supply Chain & Proj Management. Because of which my Statement of Purpose and the intended goals did not match the degree he thought I am going to do. I have all the documentation (included the Confirmation of Enrollment issued by Australian Education which states my intended course as well)

Now, I am going to apply to UK. What are your thoughts on this?

In itself, the Australian refusal has no relevance to or bearing on a UK immigration application.

When checking your credibility the ECO may want to ask why your plans for study in Australia changed so quickly to studying in the UK instead, but I'm sure you have your reasons.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
