Hi!
Greetings!
I recently applied for a Tier 4 Visa and am a little worried about a the 28 day rule. Really need some help and guidance!
I recently submitted my application to the VFS Global centre in my country for my Visa application, i.e, on the 1st of August. I have the following questions about the procedure:
1) For Financial Documents, I have submitted the bank statement of my PPF account (Public Provident Fund). This account was created by my father for myself in the year 1991 and it is in my own name. The account reached full maturity in the year 2006 (since the maturity period is 15 years). I have not withdrawn any amount from this account since it's creation but if I'd like, I can go tomorrow and withdraw the entire amount altogether.
Thus my query is, whether the same qualifies as a proper resource for showing I have the entire funds to take care of my tuition and living expenses, or am I at a risk of being denied a Visa based on the nature of the account?
P.S: I have also submitted an online currency conversion with the document and the amount in the account is more than enough to fulfill the requirements.
2) I have prepared my bank statement for a 6 month period, as according to my bank this was the standard format. I submitted my online apply for visa on the 27th of July but the statement dates to 31st of July as the bank was facing some technical issues. The last transaction in my account was done on the 30th of July, 2018, which was a deposit of INR 500. Post this, the statement showed the balance on the 30th of July, 2018.
I submitted the documents at the VFS Global office on the 1st of August, 2018.
Thus, my query is whether the statement sits well with the 28 day rule of UKVI?
If not, should I cancel my application and apply again?
P.P.S: I have mailed my university and am currently awaiting their response as well.
