Advice on Uk tier 4 student visa urgently needed

I’m financially sponsored by my government, both course fees, maintenance fee and living expenses. I have my sponsorship letter and other documents intact.

When filling my tier 4 uk visa form, I filled Desmond as my dads name and in the application additional information note I jotted that “my father has two English names which are Desmond and Wilson, that is why I used either one in this application.

I already submitted my application

Please could this pose an issue?

Where in the application did you use the different name Wilson?

I wrote it in the extra information note, after filling all the details/questions in the form.. the space where you have the chance to add more information about your application that you where not able to write when filling the form.

I’m afraid because in my birth certificate it’s only Desmond that’s written. And i don’t have any document that carries Wilson.

Your birth certificate was not required for the application, so I am not clear why you included it. Students using evidence of money held in a parent's name need evidence of the relationship, but you are fully funded through an Official Financial Sponsor, so your birth certificate seems irrelevant.

Moroever you gave his name as Desmond at the relevant question about parents, your birth certificate (which was not required anyway) also says Desmond, and you did not include any document in which he was named as Wilson rather than Desmond. So what was the reason for adding the information that he also uses the name Wilson? I don't see how any of this was relevant to your application.

Your birth certificate was not required for the application, so I am not clear why you included it. I included Wilson because I wasn’t sure if it’s Desmond or Wilson I used as my dads name on my previous Uk tier 4 visa.

We moved home so I couldn’t find the old previous application form, and I tried login in if I’ll download it but it was no longer available.

That’s why I went down to the Extra Information and say “my father has two English names which are Desmond and Wilson but I used either one in this application”.

But since I don’t need to prove my relationship with him, neither is he sponsoring me or taking care of my course fees or living cost. It’s not gonna be an issue, is it?

Hence I havnt gone for biometrics, So I have not submitted any of my documents yet.

But already submitted and paid for my application and IHS.

The appointment interview date is next week.
