Spouse threatening

Post by Sharanya » Fri Nov 10, 2023 7:57 pm

Dear advisors

I am a student in a leading UK University. I am coming from India . I am married. I have a daughter 4 yrs old. Now I got a small job here and I am planning to bring my daughter here. My husband is also eligible to apply dependent visa to come Uk. Basically is there any option to prevent him to come uk. He is alcoholic and a drug user. I came here to get a new life. But I want my daughter. He started visa processing to come uk. Any option to prevent this. Thanks

If your husband is in the process of applying for a student dependent visa, he will only succeed if he has your support with the application as his sponsor.

However, there may be an issue with your daughter joining you if he objects, assuming he has joint responsibility for her care.
