I am planning on applying to a UK university and the UK Border Agency's website says that when I get my visa approval, I can travel to the UK at any time up until the expiration date on the visa. I found that information here: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/faqs/5167621/2969423
However, I was browsing the international student section of the university's website when I discovered that, according to them, my visa is valid for entry to the UK for only three months, and if I don't enter the UK within three months of receiving my visa, I will be denied entry and have to start all over again. I found that information here: http://www.qub.ac.uk/directorates/mrc/D ... .en.140701
Perhaps I am missing something, but these seem like contradictory statements. Can someone provide me with the correct information? I emailed the school and they told me basically that they didn't know the answer and to try calling my local UK consulate. Thank you for your help!
