after student visa

Post by bowbowlee » Fri Dec 10, 2010 8:22 pm

Hi, I am currently holding a student visa and it will expired at the end of January 2011.

I will be finishing all my study in London by that time, therefore I am planning to go for travel in Europe (outside UK) after my student visa expired.

Since my air ticket is a return ticket from my home country to London. Therefore, I must come back to London after my travel in Europe, then i will stay 1 more week then get a flight from Heathrow.

However, I am concern that UK immigration will not let me in because my student visa has expired.

I was thinking if I enter UK after my travel as a visitor, will the immigration let me in?

As I sure that my passport allow me to stay in UK for up to six months as a visitor.

I really hope that I can have my graduation trip to Europe as I will be leaving London after my study.

Therefore, I would like to ask can I travel to Europe at the end of Jan 2011 and enter UK as a visitor then ?

Thank you,

If you are non-visa national, then it may be possible.
