Can I Get an student visa extension in this situation

Hi All

I am a postgraduate student and am writing my dissertation. i have already got an extension on my student visa and it is expiring in september this year. but my dissertation has taken a plunge and i need more time to complete and submit it. i was supposed to submit it before 31st of may but due to several reasons i couldnt complete it on time. now i can get two months paid extension from university which will be till 31 july. and my visa is expiring in september but i will receive my result in the end of november. i want to know if i apply visa by getting two months university extension will my visa be extended till november or not. i dont want to go back home and apply PSW from their as it would cost my much more and i dont have that much savings. kindly help .

Yes you can get an extension in this situation as long as your university is willing to issue you with a Cas as some institutions will not do so if the students visa still expires before the course finishes.

i will go to uni tomarrow and ask them for CaS. hope i get extension till november so that i can apply PSW from here. i have invested so much here to get good education but ukba is making life difficult for students..
