Guys I got an email that the process visa application is recieved at UK visa application centre on 15/09 .
I know this means that the case is processed but i wanted to know how long it takes before vfs would contact me for collection , keeping in mind that today is Friday and we have weekend ahead.

I am in similar situation except that I applied on 31st July and received e-mail about delay on 18th. Has your CAS been used?

i contacted my uni several times but they just say that it is the case of being patience and waitng until decision has been made and we are communicating ukvi on a numbr of visa delay at the moment including ur application..

Thanks. I called them near 7:15 (Pak Time) and asked straight away to be updated with the status of my Tier 4 visa. He asked for GWF number only and said that decision is made and you will receive call from VFS sortly.

Now its weekend and I am hoping to be contacted in coming week.

how to know about CAS status?

Ask your university to let you know if your CAS status is Assigned or Used. Also share your CAS reference number in your email to university - they do not need to contact UKVI for this.

@Faizan, UKVI contact center does not share the visa decision but they just share the visa status whether it is decided, in process or not yet processed.
Do not worry about the delay. The applications are being cleared off quickly. I hope you wll getnews on via in coming week.

The university can tell you if your visa has been granted or refused. My university emailed me on Wednesday telling me that my visa has been granted.
Received email from UKVAC to collect my passport today and I got visa .
So you can check with ur university.

@mjaan, it might mean that your application is being processed or it has been processed. Better is that you call UKVI and get exact status of your application. I called today and they said a decision on my visa application has been made. He also said that VFS will contact me in coming week for collection of passport.
Get your via status known from UKVI to clear off the real status of your visa.
