what is the process of arranging private ceremony ?

what is the process of arranging private ceremony ?

Hi Respected Users,

I got my approval this monday ....and contacted council today and they said that Aug 15th is the next ceremony ...and also they said questionarie willl be sent to me ...after filling it ...and then they woll set it for me it seems...

just thinking of going for private ceemony ...because of month gap ...

Please advise me the process of how to book private ceremony ..?how much it cost ...?
has it to be done through local council or any other contact ?

Please advise///

Call the same number, ask them for a private ceremony. They've miost likely received notification of your naturailisation, so they'd be able to tell when they can fix a ceremony for you.

I think cost differs according to council, I think mine was 60 pounds.

Thanks, I did it for this coming friday 18th Jul @12.00 ...she said it costs 85 per person ....mine is 2 ...so had to spend 170 for this ...its ok .A
Aprt from Home office approval ...what else we need to take....any dress code..? please advise..

What is the process for Passport apply after this received citizenship cert on 18th July ...-- please advise,,.

Appreciate your help...

You need to take the approval letter and an photo ID. There is no such dress code as such but if I were you, I would dress decently.

After the oath, council will provide naturalisation certificate which you need to send along with your passport application. Simples :)
