Do you already have a ILR? or you have applied for it and it is under process.

In my humble opinion

Conviction happens when the court awards the fine. So,

1. When you applied for ILR you had no conviction, so you did not lie

2. When You have got the ILR you did not have any conviction .

3. So unless there is a mechanism for revoking the ILR for a conviction that happened after the ILR has been given, there should not be a problem. I have not come across any such mechanism (remember, you did not lie while applying for ILR, so tharts not the issue). So your conviction post the ILR award should have no effect on nyour ILR.

4. Now comes the question of successful outcome of the MN1 application. As far as I know, the outcome of MN1 does not depend on the conviction of the parents (assuming he is otherwise entitled for MN1.

So as far as I can see, itn should be no problem.

However, if I were you I would consult a lawyer for a final peace of mind.

Other more knowledgeable people on the forum will correct me if I am wrong

Honestly, now I have no idea what you are talking about. Please explain the timeline in details, and maybe someone can help.

( you first say, you have just got the notice from a bailiff, and you already have the ILR before that, then you say the conviction is an old one. Which one is it, really!!!!!)
