citizenship invitation - past date on letter

Please help!
I finally (after 6 months of waiting) got my letter for "citizenship invitation" dated 21 June 2012.

I was travelling and only got it today. (31 July)

The letter states you have to make the appointment within 21 days of receiving the letter, which obviously I've missed. I'm really panicking.

What happens now?

You have 90 days from the date of your HO invitation letter to attend a ceremony. So just call them to schedule for one. All information about the citizenship ceremony you will find in the link below.

please tell me when u got your approval letter of application? 6 months waiting for just invitation letter this is not fair .............

my brother got his approval may 2012 after one year he is also waiting for his citizenship ceremony invitation letter for last 3 months.............
