Hi there
I hope you can help.
I went to a checking service to submit my documents for naturalisation but after consulting with border agency they called me back to say that my WRS registration is not valid because I did not work for the same employer for 12 months.
I came in 2006 and registered with the first employer for WRS, worked few months, changed job, again worked few months for another employer and changed employer again. Every time i applied for a new WRS, the break between each employment was 4 days and 10 days respectively.
I am totally confused because when WRS was in place I am sure that working for one employer for 12 months straight was not a requirement.
I can provide 7 years worth of payslips as well as documents to prove my start and end date for each employment, so I have exercised Treaty rights to my understanding.
I called Home Office and they confirmed that 12 months work for one employer was not a requirement, but one of the immigration advisers said that Border agency is right.
I am considering applying through the immigration adviser, but not sure if it will make any difference. To my mind I have done everything correctly at the time.
