like Pakistani national can keep dual nationality
As all the passport service is being moved to the UK (not sure exactly when) the service should be streamlined.Ayyubi72 wrote:In theory you can apply for your first passport from Pakistan, but it can take a long time. Let me stress, a looooong time. 6 months is the minimum, but in practice it can take well over an year.
I would say, do not apply for a passport from Pakistan ever.
Best to apply when you are in UK.
No, some British people never have a British Passport.dr_kzot wrote:thanks alot is there any necessity or condition to apply for British Passport after getting Nationality if i apply for passport after two or three years as i will not be in the country during that time does it cause any problem
Indeed. Your certificate of naturalisation is proof you are a British Citizen, there is no requirement to have a passport. Though, it is a good document to have for identification and travel. If you are staying in Pakistan for some time you might as well just apply for your British Passport from Pakistan.dr_kzot wrote:so you are some saying I can naturalized but I don't need to apply for passport
