My conditions are similar to that case and have been studying and working ( treaty rights uk). What I dont have is health insurance from Holland and proof of being self sufficient during the 1st two years of studies. The current study is funded through University (since 2011). I have a registration certificate from HO as well if that helps. Also I am married and the child was born in UK after marriage.Jambo wrote:Just living in the UK as EEA national is not enough. There are some conditions to meet (especially if not working). See similar discussion here.
Hi again! Thanks.Jambo wrote:When did you receive the Registration Certificate from the HO?
Students are exempted from CSI when applying for PR Confirmation if they have been issued a residence document as a student before June 2011 (this is becuase the HO never asked students for it then).
If you have an undergraduate (or graduate) degree from a UK university, there is no need to pass a language test. You just provide evidence of your studies.
May I know why I need to show private health insurance (from September 2009 onwards) if I have been registered at the local surgeries since I came here and been to GP and hospital without any health insurance and it was never required to show. I have a national insurance number as well. Since I am not working full time, I even have a NHS exemption certificate issued each year.Jambo wrote:In that case you are not exempt from CSI. Private health insurance or a Dutch EHIC is required for the years to be counted for PR which is required for naturalisation.
Thanks. How can I show CSI for that period now? Where do I go from here now? I had worked during my studies if that helpsJambo wrote:See Q6 in EEA FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - Residence Card.
