life in UK test - EEA national applying for Citizenship

Hi all,

I passed life in the UK test today .
I have been living in the UK (from EEA country-holland) for more than 6 years. But I did not apply for permanent resident card after 5 years which makes me to submit proof of my residence in last 6 years (I guess).

During the 1st two years from my settlement I went to University. In the third year I was looking for a permanent job (have proofs in form of emails and letters) and had some temporary jobs (lasting a week to few months). In 2011, I enrolled myself for further University studies and still am currently studying (3 year course).

I have three queries:
1) I have only worked for a few regular months in 2010 and in 2012/13 (part-time while being a student) and there are a few months gaps (no proof) from May 2008-September 2008 and from September 2009 to January 2010. I hope this does not make any difference to my application criteria.

2) My other query is regarding the change of requirements from 28 October 2013 regarding English test. Do I need to apply before the 28th of this month or can I apply after the date as well as I passed the Life in UK test before the 28th?

3)Also, since I have been here for more than 5 years and am an EEA national, I guess I can apply for my daughter (born in UK few years ago) British citizenship as well (currently EEA pasport).

Just living in the UK as EEA national is not enough. There are some conditions to meet (especially if not working). See similar discussion here.

My conditions are similar to that case and have been studying and working ( treaty rights uk). What I dont have is health insurance from Holland and proof of being self sufficient during the 1st two years of studies. The current study is funded through University (since 2011). I have a registration certificate from HO as well if that helps. Also I am married and the child was born in UK after marriage.
Can you clear 2nd query as well?

One more query if you dont mind; Do I need to send originals such as Post graduate certificates I obtained in UK?

When did you receive the Registration Certificate from the HO?

Students are exempted from CSI when applying for PR Confirmation if they have been issued a residence document as a student before June 2011 (this is becuase the HO never asked students for it then).

If you have an undergraduate (or graduate) degree from a UK university, there is no need to pass a language test. You just provide evidence of your studies.

I received the RC in October 2010 (I came in UK in September 2007).

ps : I applied for the RC in May of that year and was not a student at the time of application (study finished September 2009).

In that case you are not exempt from CSI. Private health insurance or a Dutch EHIC is required for the years to be counted for PR which is required for naturalisation.

May I know why I need to show private health insurance (from September 2009 onwards) if I have been registered at the local surgeries since I came here and been to GP and hospital without any health insurance and it was never required to show. I have a national insurance number as well. Since I am not working full time, I even have a NHS exemption certificate issued each year.

Thanks. How can I show CSI for that period now? Where do I go from here now? I had worked during my studies if that helps
