Bachelor degree taught in non-English Campus

Apology if the thread title is confusing.

A bachelor degree issued by a Uni of an English speaking country but taught in a Campus of a country not on the kol list

Called Naric yesterday and they responded that they cannot issue English Language Assessment because the degree was issued by a University from an English Speaking country (Australia) even I mentioned to Naric that the course was undertaken in Malaysia Campus and taught in English. (which is not on the kol list although English is the offical language.)

Also on the bachelor degree certificate it's specified clearly that it's issued by that Australia Uni.

NAric says as long as the certificate specify it's from a Uni of an English Speaking country they are not able to do anything.

Should I continue with the application of BC? Is it safe?

Any similar experience?

Yes. If the points are awarded 30 for qualification and 10 for English Skills that should suffice B1 (with the certificate) and in addition to LIUK will suffice KoLL for naturalisation.

Do you have a valid Certificate of Sponsorship? yes ->
Are you going to be earning at least the appropriate salary for this category? yes ->
I have a UK Bachelor degree-equivalent qualification (or above) that was taught in English ->

Then follow the until:

Course subject: The specific subject is not on the list but I selected Art/Humanity. As on the certificate it says Bachelor of Art.

Finally I've got 50 points.
Points for English language: 10

Does that mean I could just process the application as normal?

Beware all overseas degree holders....if you do not get any points for English language on the Home Office points based system calculator, then UK NARIC will NOT issue you with an English Language Assessment that certifies that your degree meets the requirements of CEFR level C1. You will be better off giving your £55 to charity.

I had all the evidence UK NARIC had asked for which includes the following:

1. Letter from my university that stated that the medium for instructions in my university is English and that all my modules were taught in English;
2. My transcript that showed all the modules that I studied including English Language core modules;
3. My original degree certificate; and
4. A very well written cover letter

UK NARIC took one month and then sent me a letter stating that "although it is confirmed that my degree was taught in English, there is not enough evidence to show that it meets the requirements of CEFR level C1.

You will be much better off taking an approved English lanugage test rather than wasting your time, effort and money with UK NARIC. They are running a money making scam (a charade!). I'm posting this here for the benefit of all those who need to satisfy this English language requirement as I learnt the hard way. DON'T GO TO UK NARIC.
