Romanian national applying for BC

Hello everyone,

I'm a Romanian national living in the UK since August 2009, on continuous employment since November 2009.
I married a BC in January 2014.
However, we are planning to move out of the country for 2 years in august (so around the time I would meet the residency requirements to apply for the British citizenship) as he got a job offer there.
I would like to apply before we go, as of course I would lose all the years of residency by living abroad!
What would you advise in this case? Do I risk loosing the fee by applying a bit before August 2014?
