MN1 - Money has not been debited yet

Hi all,

I have applied to register my son as BC on 13/08/2015.
The UKVA received the application on 14/08/2015, I paid by cheque but the money is still in
my account.

Is there anyone in the same situation?
Shall I wait a bit more or call them up?

Any advice would be welcome!

Hi,

Just give it a few more weeks. Sometimes they are taking up to 5 weeks to debit and you paid by cheque so that takes at least a week to clear.

If nothing by mid September then give them a call or email them
