Naturalization application and misspelled maiden name

Post by sonub4ualt » Mon Oct 05, 2015 10:29 pm

Hi All,

As mentioned in my earlier post, i m due to apply my wife's naturalization. My wife's maiden name has been misspelled in her Indian passport. Her parents passed away years ago. This is her third passport. The correct maiden name is only in her first passport. The second (expired) and the existing has the misspelled name. In her ILR application the name as in the current passport was mentioned. Now should i mention her maiden's name as in her first passport or the current one.

Or should i write the correct name in the application and attach a covering letter explaining that the actual maiden name is xxxx and not yxxx and attach her first passport as an evidence.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Sonu
