Passport application - divorced parents

I'm filling out the passport application now as a naturalised citizen. It asks for parents details, including marriage date, if they were married. Parents divorced years ago, and both have since remarried. Is there any point putting in the marriage date?

Just put details not known. It is about your parents, not your step parents (subsequent marriages)
