Hi,

How important it is to match the same from and to address in the AN form for naturalisation as you did for your ILR application.

I am going to request SAR, can you drop the letter to the home office instead of posting it since I work right next home office building in croydon..

If the time periods overlap then you could expect that HO will look for a match in your history between current & past applications.
If they do not match you could expect a follow up question on that matter.

If you mean you are next to Lunar House in Croydon I suppose you could ask at front desk if they will accept your letter.
Otherwise, for the sake of a stamp, why not keep it simple & post it off (rather than risk it getting lost in the system & delaying the answer).

Thanks, yes next to Lunar house in croydon..I think I will take your suggestion of posting the letter rather than someone losing it from their hands at the front desk counter..

A BRP issued to someone who has ILR is not the same as a residence permit (issued to someone operating under EU rules).
But a BRP is a form of photo ID.

The legal requirement is for the request to be made in writing and for it to be accompanied with the relevant payment. There is no requirement for it to be posted.

BUT, I concur with noajthan. If you were to hand it in at Lunar House, it may get lost in the system and you may never get a response simply because you went outside the system and the request fell through the cracks. Also, there is a good chance that SARs are not dealt with in Croydon, but in another location of the Home Office, where it would get routed automatically if it were posted. And let's keep Royalmail going.

For a few pennies, a kingdom..I meant the SAR was lost.
