Issue relating to letter requesting biometrics

Post by mcd » Sat Nov 28, 2015 11:13 pm

Hi Everyone,

I and my wife had submitted separate AN1 forms through NCS on 2 November 2015. However, I have received Home Office letter of 25 November 2015 addressed to me acknowldeging two applications and advising receipt of payment of £2,010 although we used different cards/accounts on our applications. Attached to this is another letter addressed to me to provide biometrics. There is no separate letter addressed to my wife. There is another letter with two barcodes. I am confused. What should we do:

1. Contact home office; or
1. Book appointment for biometrics and it can be done under one letter.

As Home Office allows only 15 days time, I will be grateful if the experts on the forum can guide me.

Thanks.

There is no "appointment booking" for biometrics. Just arrive at a Post Office that offers the service. Go with the letter as it might be fir both if two barcodes. PO might be able to check.

Alternatively, second letter might still be on its way.

As advised, I submitted my biometrics on 2 December. Post office manager told me that the letter was for me only. I sent an email to Nationality service on the same day providing all references number and requesting them to send the biometrics letter for my wife. I received automated reply to my email instantly but nothing happened thereafter. I'm still waiting for Biometrics letter for my wife. I do not know what course of action should I take. Can somebody guide me please.

Many thanks.

Each application is processed individually. Her letter might still be on its way or in process.
