I received my approval on 29th jan after 11 days of sending supporting documents.Mhrkrd wrote:Fredrules03Fredrules03 wrote:How long does it take home office to decide an application if they request an additional document? Please Help.
HomeOffice requested extra document from me on 12th january 2016 and sent it i got e mail from nationality department that says a decision has been made today and details will despatched shortly so today is 25 january you should give roughly 1 week after sending the document.
Home office sent me a letter on 16th of jan with request for more documents to prove residency between 2009 and 2010. I sent all the docs. On 18th jan and got my approval on 29th jan.sylvia532 wrote:Can you please say what documents the Home Office requested? Thanks
I was on leave to remain as a student which expired on dec 2009, and I applied for eea resident card same dec 2009 but received it on june 2010 and this left a 6 months gap on my passport. They were asking for more supporting documents to prove legal resisdence like my wife's pay slip between dec 2009 and june 2010 to ensure she was exercising treaty rights, bank statement and original passport and marriage certificate as I applied through NCS and dind't send original documents.hsr1972 wrote:@Fredrule03 : What document did you provide to prove your residency for 2009 and 2010 ? Why did HO asked those documents , Which visa are you in 2009 and 2010 ? I think you would have given them your passport and they can see stamping there IN and OUT of UK ??
I think when your visa expires and you have an application under consideration in HO, you are not breaching the immigration rules as you are waiting for feedback unless you have got a deportation order but you ignored it.Fredrules03 wrote:I was on leave to remain as a student which expired on dec 2009, and I applied for eea resident card same dec 2009 but received it on june 2010 and this left a 6 months gap on my passport.
