Can i use the same person who signed for me as a Referee for my naturalization application as the countersignatory for the passport photo

Yes, you can, as long as they meet the criteria for counter signatory.

Has anyone's countersignatory been contacted by the HO to verify details?
Do they call/send letter and ask to verify the details?
(None of my referees in my naturalization form received any call from HO and I will be using one of them again to sign for my wife and my photo)

Is it only after all these checks done the letter for the passport interview been posted?

In an extreme case HO cannot contact the countersignatory will they notify and ask us to provide another countersignatory ?

Passport office did contact my son's counter signatory last year. They wrote her a letter to confirm the details and she did it.

I believe they normally do request another counter signatory if your Refree doesn't respond.

Hi,

They did contact my son's countersignatory but none of my friend's(Adult passport applicants) countersignatories were contacted. (Most of the younger applicants referees were contacted most of the times)
