Applying for naturalisation as an EU member

Post by tdealing » Mon Apr 10, 2017 9:38 pm

Hey guys,

I have received my PRC today dated to January 2011!!! I am so happy about it.

Anyway, I am of Slovakian nationality and I am seriously considering to apply for British naturalisation as I see myself as a British citizen and would love to vote in the future and be a proper member of the society, however, I have a few questions to ask and I would really appreciate if someone would help me.

1. My PRC is dated to 2011. It's 2017 now, that's 6 years. Do I need to prove that I am still a resident in the UK? And if so, what documents do I have to show? I started university in 2011, finished in summer 2014 and started working in summer 2o14.

2. If I have to send documents proving that I am still a UK resident, can I send bills, bank statements and similar documents or do they have to be contracts and p60s?

Thanks,
