Hi all
First I want to thank all moderators for the great job and help you doing... you really make a big difference and make the immigration process much easier and less stressful.
My story short is as follows :
Arrived to the UK in Jun 2007 on a student visa then renewed my student visa few times and in 2010 I overstayed... I didn't renew my visa, I didn't send any application I just let it lapse.
In March 2011 I applied for asylum and I have been granted refugee status for 5 years in Jun 2011 without going through the court. So the home office was convicted of the reasons why I overstayed.
Then granted ILR which I been holding for 12 months.
Now I am planning to apply for BC but I was reading a lot here about the 10 years immigration breach history ... does it still effect me ? Does HO put in consideration the fact I have been granted refugee status and ILR and disregard it automatically? Or there is a possibility to refuse my application and lose the fees?
I have overstayed for about 4/5 months.
Thank you in advance.
