Applying for naturalization

Hello there I'm due to apply for naturalization in January.. But I was arrested for receiving stolen goods. I was taken to the police station finger print where taken.. Will this affect my application. I was given a caution. And was told it will be on the system for 3 to 6 minths.. Should u give it some time before applying.
