AN form help please

Post by abhijack » Sun May 06, 2018 7:49 pm

Hello, all the nice and helpful people over here.
I am applying for Naturalisation through NCS (paper form) on Tuesday.
Have almost completed the form but have few doubts..

1) Regarding BRP:

a) Place of issue - Will it be Liverpool as I had my premium appointment there?
b) BRP enclosed - yes or no? Can I say No and tick 'other' for reason and explain it as 'I will need it for employment checks'.
c) Or is it better to enclose the BRP and then tick I don't want HO to retain the BRP? In that case, will they post it back?

2) Regarding speeding ticket - (issued in 2015 and no points on the license as I completed speed awareness course):
a) shall I mention it in the explanation box in the good character section? (this is what i think but it says if you have answered yes to any questions above, explain in this box and i haven't ticked yes to any)
b)or shall I mention it in the additional information section?

3) Regarding Absences:

a) As I applying on 8/5/18 I understand that I only need to mention absences starting from 8/5/13. Is that correct?
I am asking this because I had a holiday from 14/3/13 to 7/5/13.

Many thanks for your valuable advice.

1a) ok
1b) Tick yes - NCS will take a copy and certify/submit to UKVI
1c) see 1b
2a) disclose but should not be an issue
2b) see 2a
3a) correct
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

I didn't think of a payment form until now as the AN form didn't signpost to that.
Thankfully saw a discussion about fee form in another thread.

- Is this the correct form?
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -04-18.pdf

- If so, Do I need to print and fill only the 4th page i.e payment slip page only?

- And what do I put in the HO reference number on that form? The reference from the last application with HO?

- Can someone please confirm the fee is 1330 pounds per adult applicant?

Is the reduced fees for a couple applying for naturalisation together a historical thing?
Is the fee for a couple applying together 1330 x 2 = 2660 ?

Many thanks.

Just seeking reassurance/advice that I am taking everything needed to my NCS appointment tomorrow.

1) Completed AN form + payment slip
2) Current passport + previous passport with ILR stamped + BRP
3) LIUK certificate
4) Trinity B1 certificate
5) Driving license (as I used this for LIUK)
6) P60s covering last 5 years plus recent payslips (not sure whether required for non-EEA)
7) Marriage certificate (not sure whether required but just in case)

Do the NCS take relevant photocopies or should I take them?
Do I need to take an envelope or do NCS provide?

Its 22 days since the NCS appointment.
No money debited yet or any acknowledgement.
Is this quite normal wait?

Will the NCS give me SD tracking number if requested??

Acknowledgment can take time , do not worry on that and give it some more time please.
NCS will not be able to give you reference number for the application, it has to be Home Office.

Checked your emails?

Yes checked mails and online bank account to check for any debits..
Should the NCS be able to give me a tracking number for the special delivery they sent to UKVI?

NCS has given me special delivery tracking number in the receipt, so we could make sure our application has received by home office.
