MN1 and old passport

Hi All,

My current non-UK passport still has 1 year to expire, however, all visa pages are full so I asked my embassy 3-4 months ago to issue me a new passport. The issuing process takes a few months as they issue the new passport in my country and then send it to the UK so the issue date on the new passport is a few months back time, around Jun-Jul 2018 but the passport physically arrived to the UK a couple of weeks ago. However, my current passport is valid up to the point where I physically go to the embassy to collect the new one and they stamp the old one as invalid.

The embassy contacted me before my ILR application to advise the new passport is ready for collection but I asked them if its ok to collect it after ILR appointment as I already entered my current passport details in the application. They said its not a problem as my passport is still valid until the time I will collect the new one from the embassy and they will stamp the passport.

Now I got the ILR and want to collect my new passport.

My question is: once I collect the new passport, it will have issue date before ILR application date as it was issued a few months ago in my country. Will this cause any issues if I send that new passport for MN1 application? I mean can Home Office ask how come I now submitted another passport that was issued a few months ago but used another one with my ILR a few days ago? Will this cause any issues or I am overthinking this? Thanks a lot!
