Nationality application for a minor

Hello, very thankful to anyone and everyone who could help with my query! Struggling to fill in the first question of the MN1 application for my son's british nationality application. We both (me and my son) now have PR status in the UK and eligible to apply for naturalisation. We both are EU citizens (Bulgarian nationality) and both born outside UK. He is 8YO and schooling in the UK. Should i state applying under Section 1(3)
how exactly should i answer this question ?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As he was born abroad, he applies under Section 3(1).
