Hi, apologies if this question has already been answered somewhere on this board. I have looked but haven't found it.
I am an EEA national with a British spouse and have a Permanent Residence card issued in 2011. I intend to apply for British Citizenship this year (spurred to action by Brexit:) Do I need to provide evidence of lawful residence for the preceding 3 years even though I have PR? I haven't worked for the past three years as I've been caring for my mother so don't have supporting documents such as P60s nor Government letters as I haven't claimed any benefits.
Another complication is that my spouse currently lives abroad though we do both have the intention to settle in Britain in the future. Would this affect my application negatively? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
