Can I register my child separately for citizenship (born abroad)

Post by ihaveaquestiontoask » Wed Mar 27, 2019 12:27 pm

Hi
We as a family got our ILR 14 months ago and I applied for my citizenship in Feburary that I haven't yet got any reply yet. Now I want to apply through MN1 for my son who was born outside of UK after 2006 . Is this allowed or do I have to register him after I receive my certificate?
thanks

Yes you can register your child too given your circumstances. However applications for such children (born abroad) is an application at discretion, not an entitlement/right :!:
