Naturalization - Passport is due to expire

Dear Experts,

I am intending to apply for Naturalization for myself and my family(wife and child(UK Born, MN1)).
My wifes passport(India) is due to expire in 10 months from now.

Is there any requirement for the validity period required for applying Naturalization? If situation arises, Can I renew passport later if application still processing?

No.

If you wish to yes, however you might not want to bother as she will lose her Indian citizenship once her British citizenship is approved and she attends the ceremony.
