European Passport Return Service can be used for citizenship?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to apply for British citizenship via naturalisation. Can I still use European Passport Return Service for my passport to be checked, thus to get the passport back on the same day?

I did use the service last year for my EEA (PR) but now I cannot find the website on my council referring to this service anymore and I'm unsure if this service can be used for citizenship?

Otherwise, what are the steps once the online application has been submitted?

No you can't.

You have to apply online and upload your documents and attend the biometric appointment at a UKCVAS Sopra Steria centre.

You don't submit your original documents anymore, you get to keep hold of them during the process.

The council's no longer offer a service for citizenship.
