Error in application form

Post by itk » Thu Nov 09, 2023 4:54 pm

I need guidance, please.

I just discovered I made an error of omission in the Citizenship application form I submitted. I spelt the first name wrongly. What do I do? do I need to cancel the application and ask for a refund or what should I do. Any suggestions on how I can go about this, please?

Many Thanks

ITK

Did you attend the appointment for biometrics already? If not, you could specify it in the cover letter?

Thanks a lot, I haven't attended the biometric yet.. ONLY just submit the application today..

Do you mean I should write a cover letter with the correct name and ask them to correct it in the system? or how will the cover letter work please?

When you go to the appointment (at UKVCAS) ask them to upload the letter.
They have no direct access to the form you filled in - UKVI caseworkers will look at all documents you have provided.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

You should write a cover letter with your UAN, explaining what happened (as well as the rest of your circumnstances if there is anything else that you should explain), and when you book your UKVCAS appointment, upload it with the rest of your documents.
