Nationality of child

Post by UncleM » Sat Nov 26, 2011 5:46 pm

I have tried to understand the UKBA website without much success.

The mother of the baby has ILR - the father has a 3 year visa with 34 months left.

What is the nationality of the baby?

You need to provide more information if you want an answer.

When was the baby born? Where was the baby born? When was ILR granted to the mother?

Are you only asking about British nationality or this is a general question in which case, the nationalities of the father and mother would be needed and whether they are married or not.

The baby was born 10.11.2011
The Mother was granted ILR in December 2010
The baby was born here in the UK
The parents married in the UK in 2004
The Father has a 3 year Visa granted in September 2011 after being here as an overstayer.
They are both from West Africa

Baby is British and probably has father's and mother's nationalities too.
