Yes, she will have a legal immigration status that can be shown through the eVisa until she attends the ceremony. Best to postpone it until you are back.

We've decided to attend the ceremony and then apply for the British passport ASAP.
Hopefully we should have the passport before the half term break after the Easter holidays.

You should have enough time. Make sure to alert the referee to confirm her identity as soon as they see the email.

I will do that, I'll put my boss down as the referee, he will get that done quickly. Thank you.

When applying for a British passport online, it asks something along the lines of dual nationality. Does she need to select YES for this?
She holds a Pakistani passport. (Pakistan)

YES is correct answer - HMPO will want to see foreign passports (originals) to check that the name in the passport is the same as on the nat. certificate.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Awesome. Will get this sorted tomorrow. Just waiting on the date of marriage (her parents) before I can submit the application.

Why do you need this?
Not required for passporty as British citizenship is through naturalisation, not parentage ...

Note the application covers all pathways to citizenship.

It asked about her parents, their DOB, and when they were married, nothing else. Application submitted and documentation sent in the post, it should be with them by Monday lunchtime.

Ok for naturalized citizens it’s their passports and certificate.
