The message is from the citizenship team and it means your application will take more than the 6 months service standard by the HomeOffice. They are probably doing some checks and this is being delayed by the third party carrying out the checks. It is nothing to be worried about as a lot of people have gone on to get their approvals well after the 6 months service standard. All the best.Zeebro44 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 4:41 amHello members
Today I recieved email from MMST FCTCallnote
I dont know who they are I didn't ask for any update from them and here is they send to me today .
We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target. We expect to make a decision on your application as soon as possible, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible.
Yours sincerely

I dont know why they send me this email today I'm totally hopeless it's nearly 8 months
2 Hours ago I got the same email. I think when the caseworker can not reach a decision, it will be handed to a senior immigration officer.el_magnifico wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:25 amThe message is from the citizenship team and it means your application will take more than the 6 months service standard by the HomeOffice. You need to date it today or whenever you resign. You have not stated when you applied (date) or what date HO believes you were not in the UK.
If you were present in the UK 5 years ago today, then date and sign with today's date and send it back to HO.
Yes
I call my council today, said they haven't got my certificate yet... Hour later, I get the magical brown envelope through the post!Ric_online wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 8:16 pmI received the "you'll be contacted by post within 21 working days" email 2 weeks back, and by going by the general consensus this good news.
I'm impatient, so my question is if its worth contact my council to check if they have received my certificate and whether I can do ceremony before receiving the letter from the home office??
Hi there, did you leave the UK on 7th of April? Because I asked them about my case before applying and they told me that it was ok to apply on the day you leave/enter the UK

Application date is the day you submitted. So today (04/12/19)holycow wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:26 pmHi everyone, hoping someone can help me. I submitted my online application for naturalisation today and have my appointment for biometrics and the online docs upload on Monday 9th December. Does HO consider the application date as today 4th December or Monday 9th when I submit my biometrics? Thanks
