Guys i just got my long waited brown letter with approval i m so happy thanks to the board and wish all who is waiting all the best if goodluck things happen guys we all have to wait i know its not easy i nearly lost hope but got there in the end so march club get ready for good news soon

Great news, many congratulations! Seems the HO is back in business for March applicants, let's hope they shower their blessings on the rest of us before we loose (the rest of) our hair :) Congrats once again and wish you all the best for the future, cheers.

Thanks semiautomatic inshalla u become full automatic British make soon my approval date was 24//05 could have saved some grey hair but hamdolleah

I got my citizenship approved as well but can't seem to locate my earlier post with timeline details...

Just to let you those waiting that the approval will come very soon.

I sent mine in via NCS on 21st March, 2012 with a special delivery bag to return approval messages.Approval letter was dated 29th May, 2012 and received on hand on 1st June, 2012.

Invitation letter to ceremony is awaited and the next step citizenship ceremony and passport application...Good luck and the very best to all those waiting and you will hear great news...

And to all those who have allayed fears and offered comfort by sharing of their experiences, I salute you all.

I Contacted the council today they said no places in next cermony i have to wait till july i asked the nice lady can i do private one she said yeh so done got over with and now i am british finally

Thanks for the feedback Masryman... and congratulation agains...Private ceremonies encourage councils to make more and defer group ceremonies indefinately. Unfortunately but some peeps just want to close the immigration chapter and move on and that makes private arrangement irresistable...how long did the invitation letter take from the date your citizenship application was approved

Mine is taking a lifetime to come now!

I am checking my mailbox everyday as well...

Method of application: NCS Westminster (very helpful)
Date of application: 08/03/2012
Date of debit of fees: Around: 10/03/2012
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: dated 09/03/2012
Date of receipt of approval: checking my post everyday since March
Date of Ceremony:
Date of application of PP:

My landlord has just rung me yesterday saying that he is selling the flat. I am annoyed and he wants me to move out in 2 months. What shall I do? I called UKBA and as expected, no one picks up the call. The automatic services asked me to write an email. I wrote and am now patiently waiting for a reply.
