I got ILF for 8months and my husband got BC 3years ago.
I am now pregnant and I prepare go back to my own country Hong Kong to give birth for my first baby as my family can take care of me.
I prepare to return UK with baby when baby is 2months old
I know my baby got the BC from father
Baby can get a HK passport for returning UK so i think no visa is needed, but I dont know how to apply for baby UK passport when we back to UK
Should I still use MN1 form or just apply British Passport from the IPS directly?
anyone can help?

Why don't you apply for the child's British passport in HK?

As Hong Kong allows dual citizenship . So it's better for baby get hk passport for travelling China later.
By the way , Do you mean I can apply passport directly from identity passport services in UK rather than using the MN1 form ?
I don't apply in hong kong as I am afraid waiting long time on hk as hishabnd need to work in uk ASAP.

Is it necessary to get uk passport in hong kong before returning uk?
I check that if I made application of uk passport in hong kong .
The office actually send my application back to uk for processing .
So if baby got no difficulties to land uk , then I would apply passport in uk .

No, not necessary, if HK passport holder can easily enter the UK.
