Hi there,
Does anyone know if an unmarried couple apply for naturalisation at the same time, do they qualify for the 'discounted' joint application fee for married couples or civil partnerships?
Thanks,

The joint fee only applies to married/CP. unmarried couples will need to pay two single fees.

Thanks. Is this from personal experience?
It is interesting how for visa applications and ILR etc. Unmarried couples are treated in a similar way as married or CPs where as Naturalisation it is different...

Based on their
fees leaflet.

Not from personal experience. I just read the rules (
6.5.5). Also note the last two lines on the last page of the application form - for joint applications, marriage certificate / CP is required.
Naturalisation and ILR rules are different. Not discounting business trips for naturalisation is another good example of the differences.
