Best strategy to apply for passport

Hi, what would be the quickest way to apply for a passport right after the citizenship ceremony?
I tried filling the online form, which they will send me back to sign and include the documentation needed, but they ask for the certificate number, which I won't have until after the ceremony.
What's the check and send service?

No need to do it online (not very useful as they print it and send it by post to you to sign anyway). Just get a paper application form from the Post Office.

See here for Post Office Check and Send service.

Thanks Jambo,

But I can't use the full Check and Send service, right? Since it's my first passport, I think they still will need to see my original documents.

Have you read the link? Check & send means the PO checks the application and sends it together with the original supporting documents. It's not like NCS who only send photocopies. You can use Check & Send for first time passport. I would recommend using them as IPS can be picky and the PO staff are trained to verify the application is in order.
