Hi, just wanted to know if any of my uncles or their family members would be eligible for British (or South African) Citizenship or would they have right of abode?


1st Uncle

Uncle's dad - Born in South Africa, was Citizen of United Kingdom and Colonies till 1963 - got Kenyan citizenship after that

Uncle's Mum - Born in Kenya, United Kingdom and Colonies Citizen eventually British Citizen till her death in 2012

Uncle - Born in Kenya before 1983, kenyan passport holder all his life


2nd Uncle

Paternal granfather - Born in India - United Kingdom and Colonies Citizen till death

Paternal granmother - Born in India - United Kingdom and Colonies Citizen till death

Father - Born in India - United Kingdom and Colonies Citizen (I think later renounced citizenship for Kenyan passport)

Maternal Granparents - Born in India - United Kingdom and Colonies till death

Mother - dunno where she was born / no record / only have kenyan passport as evidence which shows kenya as place of birth -

Uncle - Born in Kenya before 1983 - kenyan passport holder till now
