Hi,

I will be eligible for naturalisation in November 2012. I am planning to submit my application with my wife via NCS.

Before I got married to my wife, My wife had her old passport issued under her previous (non- married) partner name, which she cancelled after court grant her separation. Indian Passport Agency reissued her new passport with father’s name as middle name after cancelling her old passport.
She initially granted marriage dependent visa on basis of her new passport before arriving in the UK. She is now ILR holder.

My question to forum is as her new passport does not represent any her previous partner details ( just old passport number), Do I still have to mention all her previous partner details in Section 1.37 to 1.43 which we don’t have.

Is it OK to leave those section blank ? If it is require then which documents I have to submit to support those sections ?

Please advise.

Thanks

Was your wife married to the person in question? If not, the questions are not relevant in your wife's case - as 1.37 clearly states.
If she was, then the section should be completed. No one can tell you of the risk if an applicant leaves the questions unanswered despite having been married previously.
