Hi,
I am getting ready to make my application via the 5yrs T1 visa + >1yr ILR and was wondering if I might be rejected for being economically inactive at the moment.
I'm not claiming benefits (nor have I ever done) and am supporting myself from savings.
Can someone shine some light on how this may effect my application?
Many thanks!

Yes of course. Everything seems to deal with either being employed or on benefits. My question relates to being financially self sufficient and have exhausted myself finding an answer - hence the post.

You will be alright even if you are not economically active. You can apply without any problem if you meet standard requirements.

Thanks for response. So do I need any additional documentation to support my application though? Ie I don't have a P60 or anything like that at the moment.

employment is not a requirement.
Check the last page of the form for the required supporting evidence and decide yourself if P60s are needed.
