Hi,

Submitted the Nationality application on 30th May 2012 and got a speeding related letter from the Police mentioning that I had drove on 9th May 2012 at 60 Mph at 50Mph on A road. So I was given choice of fine of £60 with 3 points on the license or driving class for the cost of £102.
So this has happened after the submission of the application What should I do ? Will this have an effect on the application which we have applied as afamily( 2 adults(Husband & Wife) + 2 children) for the British Nationality?
Appreciate your response.
regards

If these are the only points you got in last 12 months then you should be fine. If you go for driving class which means you wouldn't get any points on your licence then you don't need to worry about anything.

Thanks for the reply.I am eligible for citizenship from 16th May 2012, I did not get any driving related offense till 9th May 2012 after submission of the documents to the Nationality on 30th MAy 2012. The option of £102 will be considered if not I will be liable for £60 fine & 3 points on the driving license.

So should I inform the immigration department ?
