Hello,

I got ILR last moth and plannig to divorce my wife. Is it going to be an issue at the time of my narurlization application next year? We both got the ILR at the same time under tier 1 general rule and wife as dependant.

Please can you answer this soon.

Once you both obtained ILR, your wife is not dependant on you any more.

Marital status has no affect on naturalisation applications (unless married to British citizen).
